Well I will post here as I don’t seem to be able to get a personal one.
It is raining. I am losing out on my daily solitary exercise regime because I am allergic to getting soaked to the skin. Normally I go out with the old Feller in the van with all three dogs (soon to be four) and then pick one to walk back down the lanes with me while the others glare at us out of the back window.
It works well because the boys get a bit more training (like walking on a lead instead of careering about like lunatics) and I get some much needed exercise and a bit of me time to contemplate nature etc.
But I have been up in my den most of the time recently making endless beautifully crafted garments - quite proud of this as up til now I have been a total duffer at dressmaking …. I may end up having to go back to work just so I get to wear them. Ask anyone who has multiple dogs - never wear anything nice at home, they get jumped on.
That’s it for now.

Not raining today so I was able to take some time to walk Dogge on his own both on and off the lead, talk to the birds, watch the Spring coming on and do a bit of grounding and centring on my own.
Dogge got his name because when we lived in Brittany we were the unofficial RSPCA. Any unwanted animals were dumped at our house. He was number six in a long line of dumpsters. Some stayed, some didn’t. So, arriving as a very small puppy, we decided we’d just call him “dog” until we were sure he would fit in with the rest of the menagerie.
By the time he was six months old he thought that was his name and it was obvious he was going to stay (he is 11 now) so we added the other G and an E and usually he is Dogge-dogge. Collie / GSD cross, long haired and beautiful as the day. Also very bright and obedient - best of two working strains.
He likes walking to heel off the lead even if he does think he should be a foot in front of me!
